Montreal rocker Sam Roberts is only 33, but he's starting to show signs of aging. His new single, Them Kids, offers this lament about the younger generation: "The kids don't know to dance to rock 'n' roll." 


Hmm. He also provides this timely sentiment: "I can't sell my songs/So I'm gonna have to give them away." Not quite — Them Kids is now available on iTunes or you can listen to a stream of it on his MySpace page.


It's quite a lot speedier than his previous tunes — including breakthrough smash, Brother Down, and his last notable hit, Bridge To Nowhere. 


Them Kids is the first song from his upcoming album, Love At the End of the World. A release date has yet to be announced. 


His previous album, Chemical City, was a bit more psychedlic than expected — note the hippy shirt above — and wasn't quite the commercial success of his Juno-winning disc, We Were Born In A Flame.
